The Bajaj Pulsar CS 400 is easily
among the most exciting vehicles that were showcased at the recently
conducted Auto Expo 2014. The new motorcycle boasts of a really
aggressive styling, has high attention to detail, and thanks to the Pulsar brand
backing, promises to spawn a really tasty production spec model.
The Pulsar CS 400 (Cruiser Sports)
will be the naked sibling to the upcoming fully faired Pulsar SS 400 (Super
Sports) and barring the styling bits, the two bikes share almost everything
with each other. It may be noted that the Pulsar CS 400 is the same ‘new
cruiser motorcycle’ that Bajaj Auto Ltd had promised to showcase at the Expo.
While most of were hoping that Bajaj would bring out the next generation
Avenger, the 400 CS is what came our way and no, we aren’t complaining, not at
all! Rather, we are very excited about the direction in which the Pulsar brand
is headed.
Powering the new Bajaj Pulsar CS 400 CS is the same fuel injected 375cc
liquid cooled 4 valve single cylinder engine that powers the SS 400. This
engine comes mated to a six speed manual gearbox and is based on that of the
KTM 390 Duke and hence, there are very good chances that the two new bikes
boast of healthy power figures. Here are some of the features of the new Bajaj
Pulsar CS 400:
·
Disc brakes at front and rear
·
Standard ABS
·
An All-digital speed conole
·
Fuel Injection
·
8 lightning elements for the headlamp
·
Mono suspension at rear
·
Upside Down Telescopic forks at front
